1. Acceptance

By using carbon-badge.com you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Carbon Badge provides a website carbon footprint scanner based on the SWDM v4 methodology. Results are estimates for informational purposes only and are not legally binding.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Scrape or abuse the API beyond your plan limits
• Scan sites you do not own or have permission to scan
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or exploit the service
• Use the service for illegal activities

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. All prices are in EUR and exclude VAT where applicable. You may cancel at any time; no refunds for partial months unless required by applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

The Carbon Badge SVG badge may be embedded on your website as long as your subscription is active. You may not modify, sell, or redistribute the badge outside its intended embed use.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Carbon estimates are approximations. METIS is not liable for decisions made based on these estimates.

7. Limitation of Liability

METIS's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Aix-en-Provence, France.
